Russian navigation system found in kamikaze drone targeting Akrotiri base

Following a kamikaze drone attack on the British base in Akrotiri last Sunday, investigators discovered that the device utilized a Russian-made Kometa-B navigation system. The drone was reportedly launched from Lebanon. Recovered components have been transported to the United Kingdom for further forensic analysis. Analysts suggest this is evidence of Russian military technology being deployed in Middle Eastern conflicts. The Sunday Times reported that Russia is sharing intelligence with Iran regarding the locations of U.S. naval and air assets. Sir Richard Knighton, head of the British armed forces, stated he has no doubt that Russia is providing support to Iran, characterizing their cooperation as a dangerous axis. Meanwhile, the Russian ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, stated that Moscow is not neutral and maintains a supportive position toward Iran.
