Elias Charalambous has announced his resignation as the head coach of Steaua Bucuresti following the team's 3-1 home defeat to Universitatea Cluj. The Cypriot manager stated that he had made the decision to step down prior to the match, emphasizing the need for a leadership change to provide the team with a positive shock. Appointed on March 30, 2023, Charalambous oversaw 170 matches for the club, recording 88 wins, 41 draws, and 41 losses.
