Cyprus industrial turnover report for December 2025

The Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat) reported a 4.9% increase in the Industrial Turnover Index for December 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 139.8 points based on a 2021 baseline of 100. For the full year 2025, the index rose by 5.0%. Manufacturing drove growth with a 7.1% increase, while the mining and quarrying sector grew by 6.0%. Conversely, the water supply and materials recovery sector declined by 6.8%, and electricity supply fell by 3.8%. Within the manufacturing sector, notable gains were seen in machinery and transport equipment (42.8%), wood products (23.8%), and furniture (17.0%), while electronic equipment dropped by 21.6%. Domestic market turnover increased by 4.4%, and exports rose by 7.9%. The index monitors mining, manufacturing, electricity, and water supply for enterprises with at least 20 employees or €2 million in annual turnover.
