Traffic arrangements for the 28th TUI Cyprus Marathon in Paphos
On Sunday, March 8, the 28th TUI Cyprus Marathon will take place in Paphos, necessitating various traffic restrictions between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The marathon begins at Petra tou Romiou at 7:00 a.m. and proceeds along the old Limassol-Paphos road (B6) through Kouklia, Mandria, Timi, and Acheleia. At 7:30 a.m., traffic will be blocked from the Alphamega supermarket in Mandria towards Timi, with exceptions for vehicles heading to the airport. The left lane from the airport access road to the Koloni roundabout will remain closed until 11:45 a.m., with the remaining lane open for airport traffic. From 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the left lane from the Koloni roundabout toward Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue will be closed until runners pass Riccos Beach. Additionally, a half-marathon and a 10km race will occur, starting and ending at the Paphos Medieval Castle square. Local police and race officials will monitor the routes to ensure safety and regulation adherence.
