She was able to return to Cyprus on Thursday, March 5, via the second official repatriation flight. Averkiou confirmed her safe arrival on social media, where she had previously requested assistance. Upon her return, she reunited with family members and her partner, Cypriot Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Fidias Panayiotou. Following the arrival, the couple reportedly continued preparations for their upcoming wedding. Some challenges were noted regarding the production of their wedding invitations, specifically concerning the quality of the wax seal.
