Death of Kyriakos Grigoriou, founder of Grigoriou Sausages
Kyriakos Grigoriou, the founder of the Cypriot meat processing company 'Grigoriou Sausages', has passed away. He was a pioneer in producing traditional Pitsilia region delicacies, including hiromeri and lountza. He began his professional activities early in life at the family home, distributing both his meat products and produce from his orchards across Cyprus. His family-run business continues to operate today using his original traditional recipes and quality standards. The funeral service will take place on Monday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m. in his birthplace of Potamitissa. The family has issued a statement thanking those who wish to honor his memory. His descendants have pledged to continue his work as part of his professional and cultural legacy.
