Reports suggest Russia is providing targeting data to Iran

According to the Washington Post, three unnamed U.S. officials claim that Russia has been providing Iran with intelligence on the locations of American military bases, ships, and aircraft in the Middle East. While the U.S. Department of Defense and the CIA declined to comment on these allegations, the report suggests this support has increased Russia's involvement in the ongoing conflict. Officials noted that Iran's ability to track U.S. forces has been degraded following joint U.S. and Israeli strikes, which have hit over 2,000 targets since hostilities began last week. Despite these setbacks, Tehran has launched thousands of drone and missile attacks against U.S. assets. One confirmed incident involved a drone strike at Port Shuwaikh in Kuwait, resulting in the deaths of six American reservists. The White House, represented by spokesperson Anna Kelly, stated that the Iranian military infrastructure is under significant pressure and suffering heavy losses. Conversely, Russia has officially called for an end to the conflict, which it has described as an unprovoked armed attack.
