Monthly decrease of €377.7 million in new loans in January

New loans in Cyprus experienced a significant decline of €377.7 million in January 2026 compared to the previous month, according to Central Bank of Cyprus data. Alongside the reduction in lending volume, interest rates for both consumer and housing loans saw a slight decrease.
