Alma party announces 11 new candidates for 2026 legislative elections

The transitional executive secretariat of the movement Alma-Citizens for Cyprus has announced 11 additional candidates for the 2026 parliamentary elections. The new candidates represent various districts: Nicosia, Limassol, Famagusta, and Paphos. For Nicosia, the candidates are Ioanna Vasiliou and Dimitris Kyriakou. Limassol candidates include Alekos Argyrou, Neofyta Evangelou, Daniel Apel-Malak, Miltos Papadopoulos, Skevi Papamiltiadous, and Andreas Tsipis. Famagusta is represented by Angela Malaktou and Stelios Foivou, while Christos Komodromos is running for Paphos. This announcement brings the total number of party candidates to 42. The party plans to select 14 more candidates to complete its electoral list. Selection criteria for the remaining candidates prioritize social representation and public interest. The list includes professionals from various sectors, such as nursing, with detailed biographies provided by the party.
