Regional conflict continues to disrupt air travel to and from Cyprus

Ongoing tensions in the Middle East have caused significant disruptions to flight schedules at Larnaca and Paphos airports in Cyprus. Throughout the recent period, the number of cancelled flights has fluctuated daily, with reports indicating daily cancellations ranging from 29 to 45 flights. Affected routes primarily involve destinations in Israel, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Kingdom. Airport authorities are monitoring the security situation, which has prompted various airlines to suspend or reroute services. While some carriers have resumed operations, others continue to adjust their schedules based on regional developments. Passengers are advised to contact their airlines or travel agents directly for the latest updates. Additionally, the Ministry of Interior noted that approximately 950 individuals have been evacuated to the island amid the regional crisis.
