24th Cyprus Film Days International Festival to be held in April 2026

The 24th Cyprus Film Days International Festival is scheduled to take place from April 17 to April 25, 2026. The event will be hosted at the Rialto Theatre and Zena Palace. The festival features a central theme titled Life, focusing on cinema as a medium for exploring human experience and social narratives. Artistic direction for the 2026 edition is led by director and academic Argyro Nicolaou and director and producer Petros Charalambous. The program includes both an International Competition section and a Cypriot Competition section. Screenings will feature premiere films from both Cyprus and international creators. Organizers aim to foster audience engagement through film screenings and discussions. The festival seeks to present works that address contemporary issues of resistance, loss, and social change.
