Stijn Middendorp establishes himself in Anorthosis Famagusta's starting eleven

Dutch midfielder Stijn Middendorp, 22, has become a regular starter for Anorthosis Famagusta. He joined the team shortly before the end of the winter transfer window, officially registered as an amateur due to the club's depleted transfer quota. Despite his unconventional entry, he earned the trust of coach Mauro Camoranesi. Since his debut as a substitute against Aris, Middendorp has played three full 90-minute matches against ENY, Pafos FC, and Paralimni. He partners with Stefano Sensi in the central midfield. Previously developed by Excelsior's academy, the player has a contract with the Famagusta-based club running until the summer of 2027. Conversely, teammate Aboagye has not received playing time under the current coaching staff.
