First national coastal rowing championship held in Limassol

The first Cyprus Coastal Rowing Championship took place on February 28 and March 1 at Malindi Beach in Parekklisia, Limassol district. The event featured 52 athletes competing in various categories. The Limassol Nautical Club (NOL) finished in first place in the overall standings with 4 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals. The Nireas club took second place with 2 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals. The Limassol Rowing Centre (KKL) placed third with 2 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal, while the Famagusta Nautical Club (NOA) earned 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals. Athletes from the Limassol Nautical Club won gold in the CJM15 1X, CJM1X, CJMIX 2X, and CMix4X categories. Maria Hatzilia served as the head coach for the winning Limassol Nautical Club team.
