The reports suggested that messages were sent to the Washington administration, though sources indicated the Trump administration did not respond. Conversely, Iranian officials, as cited by the Tasnim news agency, have explicitly denied these claims, labeling them as psychological warfare. An anonymous Iranian official stated that no messages were sent to the U.S. and that Tehran is preparing for a long-term war. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly sought clarifications from the White House regarding potential contacts. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump publicly stated that Tehran seeks negotiations but noted that he believes it is too late for such discussions given the ongoing military operations. The Iranian ambassador to the UN in Geneva also formally ruled out current negotiations with Washington. Both the White House and the CIA have not officially commented on the reports.
