CFA disciplinary judge imposes sanctions on players and coaches

CFA disciplinary judge Aristotelis Vryonidis issued several rulings on March 4, 2026, regarding incidents from matches played on February 21, 2026. Alexander Matija Spoljaric of Karmiotissa received a fine for inadequate behavior and protests during the match against Nea Salamina. Jay Gorter of Pafos FC was suspended for one match and fined following a serious and dangerous play against Anorthosis. Ioannis Efstathiou of Ermis Aradippou received the most severe penalty, a suspension until August 20, 2026, and a fine, for violent conduct toward the referee during the game against Ethnikos Assias.
