Departure of HMS Dragon to Cyprus postponed

The departure of the British Type 45 destroyer HMS Dragon from Portsmouth to Cyprus has been officially rescheduled for next week. Currently, the vessel remains docked in the UK as it undergoes the final stages of ammunition loading. British officials have explicitly denied speculation that the delay is linked to budgetary constraints or financial difficulties. Ahead of the ship's arrival, two Wildcat helicopters are scheduled to be deployed to Cyprus. The mission is part of ongoing regional military deployments in the Mediterranean. No further technical or operational reasons for the timing shift have been disclosed by the Ministry of Defence. The vessel is expected to sail once loading operations are complete.
