Flare-up in Limassol Municipality: Deputy mayor and Armeftis at odds again – travel expenses worth thousands at the center

A new dispute has emerged in the Limassol Municipality between Deputy Mayor Marios Protopapas and Mayor Yiannis Armeftis regarding significant travel expenses. While Protopapas criticized the total spending of over 120,000 euros, Armeftis countered that the actual cost to the municipality is minimal due to EU grants and cultural missions.
