Anna Psarouda-Benaki, a prominent Greek jurist and politician, has passed away at the age of 92. She made history as the first woman to serve as the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament. Additionally, she was the first female President of the Academy of Athens and an Emeritus Professor of Criminal Law at the Law School of the University of Athens.
