26-year-old Nepali woman dies after e-scooter collision in Limassol
Lakpadoma Sherpa, a 26-year-old woman from Nepal, passed away at a private clinic in Limassol following a road collision on February 10, 2026. The accident occurred at approximately 8:00 AM on Nikou Pattichi Street when the electric scooter she was riding collided with a car driven by a 52-year-old woman. According to one report, the collision happened when the victim attempted a right turn while traffic lights were green for both directions. Following the crash, the young woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance and remained intubated on a ventilator. She succumbed to her injuries late on February 13 or early February 14. Limassol traffic police are conducting a full investigation into the exact circumstances of the event. A post-mortem examination will be scheduled at a later stage to determine the official cause of death.
