Tottenham Hotspur appoints Igor Tudor as interim manager until end of season
Tottenham Hotspur has officially appointed 47-year-old Croatian coach Igor Tudor as interim manager until the end of the 2025/26 season. The announcement made on February 14, 2026, comes three days after the dismissal of Thomas Frank following a string of poor results. The club currently sits in 16th place in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone, with only two wins in their last 17 matches. Tudor was most recently at Juventus, where he was sacked in October 2025 after a winless run of eight games. His previous management experience includes spells at Marseille, Galatasaray, and PAOK, as well as an assistant role under Andrea Pirlo. Sporting director Johan Lange stated that Tudor’s arrival is intended to stabilize performances in both the Premier League and Champions League. The Croatian's first match in charge will be the North London derby against league leaders Arsenal on February 22. The appointment remains subject to the approval of a work permit.
