Jet2 flight diverted to Brussels due to passenger brawl

A Jet2 flight traveling from Turkey to Manchester was forced to make an emergency landing in Brussels following a violent altercation between British passengers. According to witness accounts, the conflict began when a passenger allegedly attempted to seize another person's mobile phone. The situation escalated rapidly into a physical fight in the cabin aisle, involving punches and resulting in injuries. One of the individuals involved was reportedly intoxicated and made racist remarks before confronting the flight crew. Upon landing in Brussels, Belgian police boarded the aircraft and arrested two individuals. The pilot informed travelers that in his 30-year career, he had rarely experienced such a violent incident necessitating a diversion. After the police intervention, the flight continued its journey to Manchester. Jet2 condemned the behavior as unacceptable and announced a lifetime ban for the individuals responsible for the disruption.
