Winners of the January 2026 MC Football Awards announced

The results for the January 2026 MC Football Awards have been released following a public vote, with Omonia players winning four out of five categories. Ryan Mmaee was named the best player of the month with 45% of the vote and also secured the award for best goal for his strike against Aris. Brazilian goalkeeper Fabiano Ribeiro retained his title as best goalkeeper with 50%, finishing ahead of Philipp Kuhn who received 33%. Panagiotis Andreou was voted the top Cypriot player with 46%, followed by Giorgos Malekkidis at 27% and Stavros Georgiou at 15%. In the player category, Pedro Marques took second place with 28%, followed by Zakaria Sawo with 22% and Jorge Miramon with 5%. The coaching category featured a close competition where Losada finished in first place ahead of Henning Berg. Additional nominees in the goalkeeper category included Christos Tachlimanidis and Mislav Zadro, who received 9% and 8% respectively. These monthly awards are determined by fan participation across various professional football divisions in Cyprus.
