European conference on rare disease treatments scheduled for March 2026 in Cyprus

The European Conference on Advancement of Treatments for Rare Diseases will be held on March 5 and 6, 2026, at the Institute of Neurology and Genetics in Cyprus. The event is organized by the Institute in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy under the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Approximately 250 participants and more than 35 speakers from the healthcare, research, and pharmaceutical sectors are expected to attend. The conference focuses on enhancing international collaboration and improving patient access to innovative therapies. Mandatory registration must be completed by February 25, 2026, through the official EU Presidency accreditation platform. Interested parties must first request an Individual Access Code by emailing RESEARCH-CY2026EU@dmrid.gov.cy. The request should specify if the participant is a speaker, local attendee, or international guest. Following the receipt of the code, registration is finalized via the dedicated online portal.
