Israeli military strikes in Gaza and southern Lebanon result in multiple casualties

The Israeli military conducted several strikes in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon between February 12 and 15, 2026, resulting in multiple casualties. On Saturday, February 14, an airstrike in northern Gaza killed at least two Palestinians who the IDF identified as armed militants crossing the yellow line established by the October 2025 ceasefire. These actions occur despite existing ceasefire agreements from 2024 and 2025, with Israel citing Hezbollah's rearmament as justification. The Lebanese government is scheduled to meet on Monday to discuss the progress of a disarmament plan south of the Litani River. Approximately 370 people have reportedly been killed in Lebanon due to Israeli operations over the past 15 months.
