FBI increases reward to $100,000 for information on missing Nancy Guthrie

The FBI has doubled the reward to $100,000 for information leading to the location of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie or the conviction of those responsible for her disappearance. Guthrie, the mother of "Today" host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen at her Tucson home on February 1. Investigators suspect an abduction and have released a description of a male suspect, estimated at 1.75–1.78 meters tall with a medium build, carrying a 25-liter black Ozark Trail Hiker Pack. Authorities have received over 13,000 tips, while the Pima County Sheriff’s Office has handled nearly 18,000 calls related to the case. A man was previously detained for questioning but released without charges after maintaining his innocence. Evidence collected includes several pairs of gloves, though their connection to the suspect remains unconfirmed. Guthrie suffers from heart issues, uses a pacemaker, and requires daily medication. A ransom note requesting $6 million was reportedly received by the family following her disappearance.
