Scheduled roadworks and lane closures on major Cyprus highways

The Public Works Department and police have announced a series of road maintenance projects affecting several motorways throughout February. From February 2 to 13, safety barrier maintenance will occur on the Larnaca–Ayia Napa, Larnaca–Nicosia, and Larnaca–Kofinou routes during daytime hours. Specific overnight closures are scheduled for the Larnaca–Paralimni highway on February 10, 12, and 16, affecting the Kalo Chorio, Aradippou, and Livadia exits due to resurfacing and maintenance. Cleaning of storm-water drains near the Aradippou Industrial Area will also close exits on February 11 and 13. On February 16, a lane on the A2 near Agia Varvara will close briefly for sign installation, while road marking on the A1 toward Limassol is scheduled for February 9 to 12. Looking ahead, a major project on the Perimeter Motorway will close lanes toward Anthoupolis for six months starting in October 2025. Traffic will be diverted through adjacent lanes or alternative exits with temporary signage provided at all locations.
