Orthodoxou Aviation appointed general sales agent for Juneyao Air in Cyprus

Orthodoxou Aviation Ltd has been appointed as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for the Chinese airline Juneyao Air in the Cypriot market. The partnership grants Orthodoxou Aviation immediate responsibility for all marketing and sales activities in Cyprus. Juneyao Air currently operates the Larnaca – Shanghai route via Athens. Starting in April 2026, the airline plans to increase its flight frequency on this route to five times per week. Juneyao Air, which launched operations in 2006, currently operates a fleet of 93 Airbus A320 and 10 Boeing 787-9 aircraft. In 2025, the carrier transported approximately 27 million passengers across more than 260 routes. The Shanghai-Athens route, established in April 2024, has served over 120,000 passengers to date. The airline also maintains an interline agreement with Aegean Airlines to expand its reach in Southern Europe.
