Lexus unveils electric LFA concept car

Lexus has revealed the LFA Concept, a study for a battery electric sports car intended to succeed the original LFA and the Toyota 2000GT. This prototype serves as a global premiere for a new BEV sports model designed under the philosophy of deeper driving immersion. Development of the vehicle is being conducted in parallel with the Toyota Gazoo Racing GR GT and GR GT3 racing programs. The engineering focus prioritizes a low center of gravity, light weight with high rigidity, and advanced aerodynamics. The chassis features a lightweight aluminum frame specifically designed to maximize the advantages of an electric platform. This architecture allows for ideal weight distribution and enhanced handling compared to traditional internal combustion models. Visually, the concept maintains the classic proportions of a sports coupe while transitioning the brand's heritage into the electric era.
