Workshop and digital photo exhibition on sustainable tourism held in Limassol
On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Limassol Tourism Board organized a workshop and digital photo exhibition at the Kourion Municipal Hall. The event was conducted within the framework of the HERIT ADAPT project under the Interreg Euro-MED program. Its primary focus was enhancing the resilience of cultural sites through sustainable tourism practices and climate change adaptation strategies. Attendees included representatives from local authorities, tourism professionals, and the general public. During the workshop, the goals and results of the HERIT ADAPT project were presented to the audience. The accompanying digital exhibition offered a visual perspective on the relationship between heritage, landscapes, and tourism in a changing climate. The event emphasized the importance of sustainable management as a core pillar for Mediterranean tourism destinations. Admission to the event was free.
