Aegean Airlines to resume Athens-Paphos flights in July
Starting July 3, Aegean Airlines will restore its direct flight connection between Athens and Paphos with three weekly services. The decision was formalized during a meeting in Paphos on February 11 between the Paphos Regional Board of Tourism (ETAP) and airline executives. While one source lists the start year as 2026, others indicate a more immediate resumption this coming July. This route is intended to enhance Paphos's accessibility to Aegean’s broader network, specifically targeting tourism markets in Germany and Northern Europe. During the discussions, both parties agreed to coordinate joint promotional actions to ensure the route's success. ETAP welcomed the development and expressed hope for a further expansion of the airline's operations at Paphos International Airport. The move is part of Aegean's strategic plan to strengthen its presence within the Cypriot market.
