Cowin AEL and Anagennisi Germasogeias advance to Cyprus women's basketball final

Cowin AEL and Anagennisi Germasogeias have secured their places in the final of the Cyprus Women's Basketball Championship after winning their respective semi-final series 2-0. AEL defeated ETHA Engomi away with a score of 89-52, maintaining a lead throughout the game, starting with a 13-27 score in the first period and 53-24 at halftime. Nefeli Stoupa led AEL with 17 points, followed by Dimitra Papalla with 16 and Eleni Oikonomidou with 15. For ETHA, Dajah Daniel scored 13 points and Evdokia Patsalidou added 11. In the other semi-final, Anagennisi Germasogeias dominated Hydra Asfalistiki ENAD with a score of 82-23. Anagennisi established an early 23-2 lead in the first quarter and reached 44-14 by halftime. Stylianidi was the top scorer for Anagennisi with 16 points, while Kristlova and Chinaklieva each added 14. These results confirm the final playoff matchup between the two Limassol-area teams.
