Elena Kousiou-Chatzidimitriou to resign as President of the Cyprus Land Development Corporation
Elena Kousiou-Chatzidimitriou announced her intention to step down as the President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Land Development Corporation (KOAG) during a performance report event. The gathering was attended by Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou and other board members. Kousiou-Chatzidimitriou expressed gratitude to President Nikos Christodoulides and the Council of Ministers for her recent reappointment. She specifically thanked the Democratic Rally (DISY) party for their consent, confirming her candidacy on the party's ballot for the upcoming elections. The outgoing president highlighted her cooperation with Minister Ioannou, acknowledging his support and decisive pressure despite occasional disagreements. KOAG is governed by a nine-member board appointed every 30 months by the Council of Ministers based on Advisory Council recommendations. She expressed confidence that the board will continue its social mission effectively after her departure.
