Eurobank announces architectural competition for a care centre in Strovolos
Eurobank has moved to the implementation phase of a Day Care Centre for people with disabilities and adults on the autism spectrum in Cyprus. The process began with the announcement of a one-stage architectural competition to select the best design based on spatial and environmental criteria. The project will be constructed in the parish of Agios Dimitrios in Strovolos and will feature a total area of 740 square meters. Included in the plans are a care facility for individuals over 21 and two residences for independent living for adults with autism. The total budget for the project is 1.63 million euros plus VAT, which also covers the fees for the designers. Eurobank is funding the entire cost of the development as part of its corporate social responsibility strategy. Following the completion of the construction, the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare will assume responsibility for operating the site. The center is designed to offer specialized care and promote social integration and skill development for its attendees.
