Catalan police investigate sexual abuse allegation against Ansu Fati's brother

The Catalan police, Mossos d’Esquadra, have launched a preliminary investigation following a sexual abuse complaint filed by a young Dutch woman in Barcelona. The complainant alleges she was at a nightclub with Fatino Junior, also known as Braima Fati, who is the brother of footballer Ansu Fati, before losing consciousness. She claims she woke up naked and suspects she was drugged and assaulted at a residence in the Esplugues de Llobregat area. Reports from media outlets ABC and De Telegraaf suggest the incident may have occurred at the home of Barcelona player Lamine Yamal, though other sources have disputed this location. There is currently no official confirmation regarding Yamal's presence or any knowledge of the event on his part. Through his legal representatives, Braima Fati has categorically denied the allegations, describing them as baseless and a distortion of reality. The complainant has undergone medical examinations at a hospital, and authorities are continuing to gather evidence. As of now, no formal criminal charges have been filed and the investigation remains in its early stages.
