ELAM announces candidates for the upcoming Cyprus parliamentary elections
The National People's Front (ELAM) has officially announced several candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections in May across multiple districts. In Limassol, the party nominated Andreas Stylianou, a martial arts school founder and honorary president of the private security guards association, along with Panaretos Panaretou, a fitness professional and navy veteran. Zenonas Michaelides, a financial advisor and ACCA-qualified professional, will run in the Larnaca district. The Nicosia candidacy was awarded to Charalambos G. Kairinos, a forest firefighter who has been an active party member since 2008. For the Famagusta district, the party named Dimitris Nicolaou, a nurse at Athalassa Psychiatric Hospital with a refugee family background. Additionally, the party confirmed the candidacy of Alexandros Georgiou for the electoral race. These announcements highlight a range of candidates from professional backgrounds including health services, security, sports, and the public sector. The party aims to secure representation across all major geographical provinces of the Republic of Cyprus.
