Sudden death of 33-year-old Pantelis Georgiou at Paphos gym

Pantelis Georgiou, a 33-year-old man from Aradippou, died on Monday, February 9, 2026, after collapsing at a gym in Paphos. While most reports confirm his age as 33, some sources cited him as 34 years old. Following his collapse, gym staff and emergency responders provided first aid before he was transported to the Paphos General Hospital Accident and Emergency Department. Despite resuscitation efforts by medical staff, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Police investigators have officially ruled out criminal activity in connection with the incident.
