Ukraine: Sanctions on manufacturers of components for Russian drones
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the imposition of sanctions on foreign companies supplying components for Russian weaponry. These measures specifically target manufacturers of parts used in drones and missiles that carry out strikes across Ukraine. According to presidential decrees, the sanctions list includes several firms based in China, the United Arab Emirates, and Panama. This decision follows an intensification of Russian aerial attacks focused on Ukraine's energy and transportation networks. Although negotiations to end the conflict are ongoing, the frequency and severity of missile strikes have increased significantly. By implementing these sanctions, Kyiv aims to disrupt the supply chains that bolster Russia's military production capabilities.
