The myths of Cyprus in three dimensions - Innovative exhibition by the Press and Information Office
The Press and Information Office launched the innovative exhibition "The Myths of Cyprus" at the medieval Kastelliotissa Hall in Nicosia. The exhibition utilizes modern audiovisual media, three-dimensional constructions, and virtual reality to bring iconic figures of folk tradition to life. Visitors have the opportunity to come face-to-face with mythical figures such as Digenis, Sierolotta, and Regaena. The project is a continuation of a short film series that showcases the wealth of Cypriot folklore through the use of technology. The inauguration was performed by the First Lady, Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, in the presence of numerous officials and cultural representatives. This initiative aims to preserve cultural heritage and connect collective memory with modern generations.
