Alarm in Galatsi: Successive knife attacks on a 32-year-old and a 26-year-old

Two separate stabbing incidents took place nearly simultaneously in the Galatsi area of Athens on a Sunday evening. A 32-year-old man was initially discovered with a knife wound to his buttock and was immediately rushed to Evangelismos hospital for treatment. Soon after, a 26-year-old man was targeted by five individuals who reportedly attacked him after inquiring about his favorite sports team. Both victims are receiving medical care and are fortunately reported to be out of life-threatening danger. Police investigators recovered a knife near one of the scenes and are currently analyzing it for forensic evidence. The investigation has been officially taken over by the Sub-Directorate for Combating Organized Sports Violence.
