Tree planting in Latsia-Geri and Strovolos municipalities with Forestry Department support

A joint environmental tree planting initiative was carried out on Saturday by the municipalities of Latsia-Geri and Strovolos. The event was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panayiotou. Most of the trees were provided free of charge by the Forestry Department through the "Planting for the Climate" program. This action highlights the cooperation between local authorities and the Ministry for environmental protection. The Minister praised the initiative as a model for achieving national environmental objectives. Hundreds of new seedlings were planted to enhance urban green spaces and improve the quality of life for residents.
