Homeowner arrested after beating tenants for refusing to vacate
Police in Limassol have arrested a 29-year-old homeowner in connection with a violent assault and robbery. The suspect allegedly threatened his tenants to force them to leave the property before returning with a group of masked accomplices. The group pursued the tenants and physically attacked them, resulting in a 39-year-old man being hospitalized with a skull fracture and broken ribs. After the attack, the victims discovered that a sum of 3,000 euros had been stolen from their residence. Law enforcement officials secured a warrant and took the 29-year-old into custody for further questioning. The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department is currently investigating the multiple charges.
