Two airports closed in Poland due to "unplanned military activity
Airspace at Lublin and Rzeszów airports in southeastern Poland has been closed due to unplanned military activity. The Federal Aviation Administration issued a notice stating that the closures are linked to ensuring national security. Flight monitoring service FlightRadar24 indicated that the situation involves NATO aircraft operating in the region. This development coincides with reports of a collapse in the Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire following a major Russian assault on Kyiv. The attack involved drones and missiles hitting power plants and residential buildings across Ukraine for several hours. These airports had previously experienced similar temporary suspensions of operations during the past month.
