Impressive Olympiacos crushes Virtus and makes an emphatic return to victories
Olympiacos defeated Virtus Bologna at the SEF stadium with a commanding score of 109-77 during the 27th round of the Euroleague. Following their recent loss in Dubai, the red-and-whites delivered one of their best performances of the season to secure a dominant victory. Coach Georgios Bartzokas's team established their lead with an incredible 37-11 run in the second quarter. Sasha Vezenkov led the scoring with 20 points, supported by double-digit contributions from Tyler Dorsey and Evan Fournier. The pre-game ceremony included a tribute to the Gate 7 tragedy victims and an award presentation to Vezenkov for being the January MVP. With this result, Olympiacos improved their record to 17-9 and remains firmly on track for a top-four finish in the standings.
