Judoka Petros Christodoulides begins his competitive year in Paris

Cypriot judoka Petros Christodoulides is set to begin his 2025 competitive season at the prestigious Paris Grand Slam this Saturday. Competing in the -66kg category, he is joined by several other prominent members of the Cyprus National Team. His preparation for this high-level event included an intensive international training camp held in Mittersill, Austria. Christodoulides expressed his readiness and focus, acknowledging the high level of competition featuring 498 athletes from 80 nations. He emphasized his determination to fight for the best possible result despite the challenging field in the French capital. Following this tournament, the 21-year-old athlete will continue his international circuit at the African Open in Tunisia.
