Legal Service officials preside over Working Parties of the EU Council

Cypriot Legal Service personnel are presiding over EU Council Working Groups during the Cyprus Presidency. These groups address significant legal matters related to criminal law, fundamental rights, and international law. High-ranking officials from the Legal Service are leading these efforts, supported by the Cypriot Permanent Representation to the EU. The Legal Service also contributed to the preparation of the informal Justice Council in Nicosia. Several prosecutors and lawyers are involved in leading specific working groups and negotiations.
