Paphos Tourism Board hosts 12 Polish cycling clubs in Paphos
The Paphos Regional Board of Tourism is hosting twelve major cycling clubs from Poland in February 2026 to promote sports tourism. This initiative aims to familiarize the clubs with the district's infrastructure and extensive network of cycling routes. Organizers are working alongside Activate Cyprus, with the Athena Beach Hotel providing complimentary accommodation for the visiting teams. During their stay, participants will explore new gravel and road cycling paths while experiencing the local countryside and culture. The project is part of a broader strategy to establish Paphos as a high-quality and competitive destination for international athletes. Paphos leverages its mild winter climate and excellent accessibility to gain a significant advantage over other tourism hubs.
