The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation at the exhibition Chypre à la BnF of the National Library of France
The National Library of France is honoring Cyprus through a special exhibition organized for the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. In collaboration with the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, the event highlights the island's role as a historical meeting point for diverse cultures. The exhibition showcases antiquities, manuscripts, and archival materials that illustrate the French perception of Cyprus since the 17th century. Notable features include works by Louis François Cassas and post-Byzantine icons on loan from the Phaneromeni Church and the Foundation. President Nikos Christodoulides of the Republic of Cyprus will officially inaugurate the exhibition on February 10. The curatorial team consists of experts from both the French National Library and the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation.
