Negligible drop in the CSE on Friday, weekly gains

The Cyprus Stock Exchange recorded a marginal decline during Friday's trading session, with the General Index closing at 302.08 points. Despite the slight daily decrease of 0.14%, the market managed to conclude the week with an overall gain of 0.60%. The total value of transactions reached 631,762.66 euros, heavily influenced by the performance of the Bank of Cyprus. Among individual sectors, the Main Market and Hotels saw losses, while the Alternative Market was the only one to post a small increase. Out of the stocks traded, five moved upwards, seven declined, and eight remained unchanged. The session concluded with a total of 160 transactions recorded by the exchange.
